Hagley Catholic High School
Principal: Mr J Hodgson

Called as God’s family, we strive to achieve our personal best, by living and learning in Christ.

Hagley Catholic High School believes that a week of work experience is a very valuable part of student’s careers education and ensure that this is offered to students in Year 10 and 12 during the summer term.

Students are encouraged to obtain a weeks work experience for themselves and fully participate in this opportunity to develop experience in the work place.

Work Experience is operated by Hagley's Careers Advisor with support from the Sixth Form Administrator for Year 12.

Work Experience is launched anually in the Autumn Term through assemblies and placements must be confirmed ideally by the end of the Spring Term. Additional communication is also sent home to parents/carers and uploaded to this page of the website below:

For a placement to be approved it is vital that all companies have an up to date employer's liability insurance document, without this work experience cannot go ahead.

Every year some students are able to find unusual and stimulating placements beyond the local area. We are keen to support these but would urge that early contact is made with our Careers Advisor, in order to check Health and Safety standards.
