Curriculum Aims

Mathematics is fundamental to understanding the world in which we live. It is therefore vitally important that our students are open to thinking independently and are confident to use their skills to solve problems innovatively in the world around them. 

Aims:
• To create an atmosphere of trust and confidence in which everyone is valued, supported, challenged and respected.
• Encouraging students to strive to achieve their personal best by living and learning through Christ.
• To use different teaching and learning styles to motivate, engage and advance student participation.
• To allow students to take their mathematics to whichever stage they need whether this be managing home finances or further study.
