Communication with the School Print E-mail
Misc - School Information
Written by Mrs S Horan

If parents wish to see any member of staff they may write or telephone the school to make an appointment. (All letters to the school should be addressed to the Headteacher). We make every attempt to arrange a time, which is convenient to you, as we are always pleased to see parents. However, we know you will realize that schools are very busy places and a little advance notice helps us to gather the appropriate information to aid you with your query and make sure that our meeting is beneficial to all concerned.

If parents wish to contact the school at any time to discuss the progress/behaviour of their children with appropriate staff, the following guidelines should help:

Subject Teacher/Head of Department  - Problems in specific subject
Pastoral Head of Year  - Problems in a number of subject areas
Pastoral Head of Year  - Problems of a more general nature i.e. friendships, general unease, any form of alleged bullying etc.

Deputy Head or Headteacher - Any very serious problems
Mrs R Jenkinson - Year 9 Options
Mr A Fitzpatrick  - Sixth Form issues

Reports are issued to parents of each child once a year and parents are invited to meet the teaching staff and discuss their child's progress at the appropriate year group's Parents' Evening. These run from 4.30 - 7.00 p.m.

Would parents please advise the school in writing of any change of address, telephone number or contact telephone numbers. This is very important.

Contact with Parents
Parents are kept informed of all school events and any changes in information given will be passed to parents in regular school bulletins, issued each month and available here on the school website. Further, the pupils’ organisers contains a great deal of useful and important information. However, please do contact the school either by post or telephone if you are unsure of anything.
