During each year, pupils will be assessed through the Balanced, active and healthy lifestyle (BAHL) Assessment: Conducted three times per year (at the start of each term). Multistage Fitness Test, Illinois Agility Test, Sit & Reach Flexibility Test, 1 Minute Muscular Endurance Test, 10m Shuttle Sprint Test, Grip Strength Test.

Topic Specific Assessments: Each topic will be assessed at three stages (1; baseline at the start of term, 2; interim review at half-term and 3; summative assessment at the end of term). Each Assessment will have two sections: 1. Core skills and 2. Competitive Situation.

At the end of the year, pupils will be have reported cumulative grades based upon their end of topic assessments for the range of nine topics covered within the programme of study.
