Year 7 – taught as a Balanced Science course

During the year, pupils will be assessed through mid-topic assessments and end of topic tests.

At the end of the year, pupils will be assessed with an end of year exam.

 

 

Year 8 – taught as a Balanced Science course

Body Systems

Reproduction

Chemical Reactions

The Periodic Table

Energy

Electricity

 

During the year, pupils will be assessed through mid-topic assessments and end of topic tests.

At the end of the year, pupils will be assessed with an end of year exam.

 

 

Year 9 – taught as three separate Sciences, in preparation for GCSE
